Fishing report at His Place Resort
Hello everyone!
Well, the water has still been running about the same as it has been for the last several weeks. At our location, it's been low most of the day, and coming up in the late afternoon, although how much it comes up has still been varying from day to day; the afternoon spike today was much larger than it's been in the last week or more.
This means that there's been good wading water during the day. Boaters need to be 1.) experienced and 2.) careful when navigating.
For the fly fishers, olive woolly buggers, darker hoppers, and some bead head midges are the way to go. For the spin fishers, I've heard several folks tell me the fish are keying in on some brighter colors this week like chartreuse and even bright orange; on powerbait or on spoons.
Come on out and see us!
